LIFE SKILLS TRAINING FOR YOUNG ADULTS

ABOUT US

ReDiscover offers life skills training in a supervised apartment setting for young adults, age 18-25, who have a mental illness, lack a place to live, and need financial and social support to make a successful transition to adulthood.

The TLP program offers living assistance in an apartment setting in both the Raytown and South Kansas City (Waldo) areas.

If you are a young adult with a mental illness, have “aged out” of the foster care system, or can no longer live in a children’s group home, ReDiscover has a safe place for you to start your life as an independent adult.

Who Qualifies?

  • Young adults (ages 18 – 25)
  • With Active Missouri Medicaid
  • And qualifying serious mental illness such as bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, or schizophrenia
