ReDiscover’s
Court Services

Mental health court services provide a specialized legal framework to address cases involving individuals with mental health challenges. These services offer alternatives to traditional court proceedings, focusing on treatment, rehabilitation, and support rather than punishment. Led by multidisciplinary teams including judges, mental health professionals, and social workers, mental health courts aim to promote recovery, reduce recidivism, and connect individuals with appropriate community resources. By integrating legal and mental health expertise, these services strive to achieve equitable outcomes while prioritizing the well-being of individuals involved in the justice system.

MENTAL HEALTH COURT

Mental Health Court is a six to twelve-month diversion program for persons charged with municipal violations who are diagnosed with a mental illness.

YOUTH DIVERSION PROGRAM

ReDiscover’s Youth Diversion Program works with youth involved in the criminal justice system. We advocate for them and provide resources to help get them back on the right track.
