MISSOURI STATE PROBATION & PAROLE

ABOUT US

Alt-Care serves women referred by Missouri state Probation & Parole. We offer educational and counseling groups, individual therapy, case management, nursing, peer support, psychiatric care, and medication-assisted treatment.

Case management helps with employment, clothing, healthcare, education, and basic needs. Therapy addresses substance use, mental health, trauma, codependency, self-esteem, and personal improvement goals.

Probation & Parole officers meet with clients on-site. The program has three levels of care, starting with full-day sessions (8:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday) and decreasing to one day per week (9am-2:45pm) as clients progress. The program lasts about one year.

Alt-Care’s primary goal is to help women on probation or parole gain independence and success while on supervision, which includes support to help them stay in the community.

Alt-Care offers:

  • individual therapy
  • community support services

  • peer support
  • psychiatric care
  • medication assisted treatment (such as Vivitrol and buprenorphine).
