ABOUT US<\/h2>\n

ReDiscover\u2019s Mobile Crisis Response Services are broken up into two programs: ReDiscover\u2019s 988 Mobile Crisis Response and ReDiscover\u2019s CoResponder Program.<\/p>\n

Mobile Crisis Response Services:<\/strong>
\nIf help from the crisis line is not enough, a mobile team can respond to meet individuals where they are in the community and provide in-person or virtual help. ReDiscover has two discreet vehicles for the Mobile Crisis Response Team to use during these calls.<\/p>\n

The Mobile Crisis Team is made up of trained mental health professionals that offer safe, compassionate care to help with immediate needs, and provide referrals and follow-up services to help prevent additional crisis situations in the future. The team also consists of Peer Specialists who have lived experiences in what the person in crisis may be going through.<\/p>\n

Co-Responder Services:<\/strong>
\nReDiscover has Co-Responders embedded within Lee’s Summit, Grandview and Raytown Police Departments. Co-Responders are trained mental health professionals that partner with law enforcement to better support community needs. Co-Responders are available various hours Monday – Friday, including after hours availability. They respond alongside law enforcement to active 911 calls that involve mental health, substance use, or a related crisis. To access a Co-Responder, you can request them while speaking with dispatch.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

988 is the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline that provides 24\/7, free and confidential support for people in distress.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Co-Responders will assist with de-escalation, assess for suicidality and other behavioral health needs, and provide referrals and follow up services. CoResponders are able to provide support and resources for a variety of needs.
