If needed, they will then be referred to behavioral health outpatient or residential services for treatment.<\/p>\n<p>We serve individuals experiencing mental health, substance use disorder, and\/or co-occurring disorders that are currently under-insured\/uninsured, houseless, and\/or using crisis services for daily needs.<\/p>\n<p>KCATC has two units with a total of 18 reclining chairs. There are 9 chairs in the Sobering Unit for those presenting primarily with substance use disorder and 9 chairs available in the Stabilization Unit for those with a primary mental health issue.<\/p>\n<p>Individuals may stay up to 23 hours.
